20 Greatest Shooters Ever Made

13. Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Deus Ex: Human Revolution wasn't a perfect follow up to the original, but it turned to be a hell of a lot better than most were expecting. Attempts to reboot a game franchise as legendary as something like Deus Ex have a tendency to go disastrously wrong (looking at you, Duke), but Square Enix did a remarkably good job. One aspect that was almost unanimously agreed on, was that Human Revolution really felt like a Deus Ex game. The cyberpunk world was gritty (and eerily realistic) and the gameplay was open to a variety of gameplay styles. Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut manages to fix the issues with boss fights being too combat orientated, making it the only way to play this brilliant title.
