Despite being more than a decade old, Left 4 Dead 2 is still a feat of technological wonder. There are a lot of unique and cleverly designed mechanics in the game, and some of them are even designed for specific levels only.

In fact, in the carnival section, there’s one object with a surprising amount of thought put into it, despite serving no purpose to the game’s story or gameplay.

On the Whispering Oaks Amusement Park map, you can find a strength test machine, called Moustachio's strength test, that can be interacted with.

If you strike the machine with your melee weapon, the test will actually register your strength, and more interestingly, the result will change depending on the state of your character.

If you are at full health, the machine will give you a better score, if you are dying, you will barely get past the first mark on the meter, and if you use adrenaline on yourself before striking, you will be able to hit the machine so hard it will cause the ring on top of it to fly off.

The developers really thought of every possible scenario for interacting with the strength test. Just because they thought it would make for a funny Easter egg.
