20 Major Video Games You Forgot Were Happening
12. Marvel's Blade
Marvel's 3rd entry on this list, Blade was announced back in 2023 at The Game Awards. The single player action game showcased a stylish, cinematic trailer that included a glimpse of the titular character, but sadly not much else. This was more than enough, though, to get long time fans excited for the project which is being developed by Arkane Lyon.
Since then, though? Pretty much nothing. Arkane did warn in advance that things would likely be quiet for a while after its announcement, but when 2024 and 2025 both passed with silence, fans began to fear the worst. Those fears were somewhat allayed this year with two small but significant bits of information. Firstly in May, Bethesda boss Todd Howard confirmed he'd seen the game and said Arkane were doing a good job. Then, Arkane's concept artist Jean-Luc Monnet posted a simple message to fans on his X account in June: 'Let us cook'.
That's it as far as updates go. For now, it remains to be seen when the half human, half vampire Daywalker properly sees the light of day.
