Video games feature NPCs of all shapes and sizes. Some are easier to find than others, but you'd do well to look for the less conspicuous ones too because the most easily missable creatures often come with the best rewards!

Some NPCs are deliberately made as missable as possible so that only select players can find them. Their miniature size, hidden location, or odd behavior that causes them to only appear under specific conditions makes them near impossible to spot, but because of this, they also give you something valuable in return.

Such NPCs can reward you with unique items, extra missions, and even powerful upgrades. However, you may not even realize you're missing out on amazing rewards, as these creatures will never show up on your radar on a typical playthrough.

Resembling tiny bugs with rock-like shells, the Crystal Lizards are the main source of shards that you need in order to improve your weapons. There are only a handful of locations they appear in, and they can be very hard to spot, as, despite glowing, they are quite small and stick to the ground, where they can hide behind tall grass and rocks.

To make things even worse, even if you manage to find one, the lizards are programmed to skitter away as soon as the player approaches them, so you have to act fast if you don't want to miss out on your reward, which again, you absolutely need if you want to keep your weapons strong.
