20 Most Replayable Video Games Of The Decade (So Far)

7. Fallout 4

Fallout 4 was either everything you wanted and a continuation of where 3 and New Vegas left off... or the most disappointing thing since Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5. Regardless, Bethesda applied their patented sequel brush to the corners of Fallout 4, rather than upend the entire core experience. The result is something that'll scratch the same itches as the past two instalments, but when that's still a quality no other game in history can even come close to (bar maybe the Witcher 3), it's worth recommending in full. Character customisation is still something to get lost in, companion commands are way more helpful and useful than before, the world itself can look absolutely gorgeous at times thanks to some jaw-dropping lighting effects, and although the main story drops the ball in its final act, the level of immersion you'll feel is something only Bethesda can pull off.
