20 Most Underrated Open-World Video Games Of The Decade (So Far)
8. The Division
What a rough, rough time The Division has had. Going from being one of Ubisoft's most anticipated titles to seeing its player base drop off by a staggering 93%, only for Ubi to release some substantial patches and fantastic DLC mode, Survival, clawing back the game's initial promise and fully capitalising on it.
Because to be fair, The Division does do a lot right. A fully-rendered New York is a great setting for a loot-shooter, the central Dark Zone multiplayer area forces you to be constantly weary of those you may call 'friend', and things like the Survival DLC put you into tense Hunger Games-like races to be the last person standing.
With solid, meaty shooting and a campaign that's a great ride with friends, The Division's initially hard times shouldn't define it in the long run.
