11. Braska's Final Aeon (Final Fantasy X)

Though the real final boss of Final Fantasy X is the hilariously easy Yu Yevon (you pretty much can't lose the battle without deliberately killing yourself), the infamously challenging Braska's Final Aeon is viewed by many as the true final boss in the game. The fight is in two-parts, with the Final Aeon eventually gaining a sword with which it can deal colossal amounts of damage. If you're like me and didn't do a lot of side-questing prior to this fight, it can be a mighty pain in the back side. The Yu Pagodas - which will heal the boss of 1,500 HP each time - are tremendously annoying, and even if you manage to make it to part two of the fight, you'll find that the Final Aeon's HP has doubled from 60,000 HP to 120,000 HP. Furthermore, his new attack, the Ultimate Jecht Shot, can absolutely annihilate your party if you haven't planned for it (and if you're like me, you absolutely haven't). If you make it through, probably by the skin of your teeth, give yourself a pat on the back.
