3. Mad Chainsaw - Resident Evil 4 Remake Demo
Resident Evil 4’s Professional difficulty setting is not only the most challenging hard mode in the game but also one of the most challenging modes in the entire franchise, right up there with the aforementioned Infernal mode from Revelations.
Still, there is one secret hard mode for Resident Evil 4 that's actually more difficult than Professional. And the only reason people are unaware it exists is because it is hidden in the Resident Evil 4 Remake’s demo version.
“Mad Chainsaw” is the hidden hard mode exclusive to the Resident Evil 4 Remake demo that has a small chance to trigger automatically upon starting a new run or by inputting a cheat code.
The Mad Chainsaw mode causes all the enemies in the village to become significantly stronger, and the chainsaw villagers are turned into special versions with flaming weapons that are not only terrifying to look at but can also kill you in a single hit.
The mode turns the first fight in the village into the ultimate survival challenge that, for some reason, you cannot experience even on the highest difficulty setting of the regular copy of the remake.
