20 Video Game Sequels NOBODY Defends
6. Bubsy 3D (1996)
Mascots are a central part of the gaming pie, with the 90s really thriving off of these lovable characters. It's hard to even imagine a world without the likes of Mario, Crash Bandicoot, Sonic, Banjo-Kazooie, Spyro, and more. That said, it's much easier to imagine a world without characters like Bubsy, because it's one most people probably want to live in.
Bubsy the bobcat is a character that never fully clicked with players. That said, his first two games weren't terrible, and some out there might look back fondly on the little guy, even if it's through nostalgia-tinted glasses. However, it's hard to think of anyone who holds a place in their hearts for the maligned, dreaded, horrendous Bubsy 3D.
This game is often touted as one of the worst games ever made, and it's hard to argue. The barren levels, ugly graphics (even for the time), terribly annoying lead character, and clunky controls all came together to produce a game that was near impossible to sit through. While there are some minor Bubsy fans out there, you won't hear them dying on this polygonal, 3D hill.
