Dragon Age: Origins is perhaps the most brutal entry in the series, requiring you to perform at your absolute best if you don't want your party to die to the endless hordes of Darkspawn and other atrocities.

Well, except there is one situation in which it is better to forfeit the fight.

During the rescue of Queen Anora from the royal palace, your Grey Warden is stopped by Teryn Loghain's commander, Cautherine, who attempts to arrest you.

You're given the option to refuse, prompting a tough fight with one of the stronger bosses in the game. However, if you accept her arrest and surrender, you and Alistair are both thrown into prison, prompting a huge hidden section in the game where the two of you, as well as your other companions, attempt to break you out of prison.

The section is not only a unique scenario that's unlike anything else in the game, but it's also full of hilarious scenes (such as your other companions masquerading as different characters to gain entry to the fort), and it allows you to collect additional loot that you wouldn't be able to obtain otherwise.

Who knew prison could be so much fun?
