9. Bravely Default: Flying Fairy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqzxHDKmLhs Another game with an odd name, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is a JRPG for the Nintendo 3DS that has already been released in Japan, and is very likely to localized for North American and European audiences sometime in 2013. Developed by Silicon Studio (3D Dot Game Heroes) and published by Square Enix, Bravely Default has received critical acclaim by numerous Japanese publications. Why it will be awesome: While Square Enix is far from being the powerhouse they used to be in years past, they do on occasion deliver supreme JRPG experiences to gamers that are tough to beat, and Bravely Default: Flying Fairy may very well be the best game they've served up on portable gaming systems since The World Ends With You. The gameplay consists of classic combo-driven turn-based combat, and utilizes the "job" system that was pioneered in another classic Square JRPG, Final Fantasy V. The game looks absolutely beautiful as well, with vividly imagined worlds come to life, and could be the best looking game the 3DS has seen thus far. The Nintendo DS was one of the best gaming platforms for lovers of the Japanese Role Playing Game, and Bravely Default: Flying Fairy looks to continue that tradition on on the 3DS.
