23 Biggest WTF Moments From E3 2016
19. A VR... Backpack!?
VR was of course all the rage at this year's E3, but surely nobody foresaw AMD unveiling a VR backpack. That's right, Alienware have created a portable, battery-powered PC which can be strapped to the user's back and allow them to take VR wherever they want.
Cue Day9 talking about taking the device out into an open field, all while more sensible viewers at home were considering how utterly unsafe that could be. Do you want to get mugged? Because that's how you get mugged.
It's hard to see who this will really appeal to: the backpack itself looks chunky and cumbersome, we know nothing about the charging process for the batteries, and honestly, who needs to have VR with them at all times that badly? Madness.
