Move over Daniel Radcliffe, the only horn-wearing wizards round these parts are that of Lionhead's wondrous creation, Fable. Encapsulating everything about every childhood fairytale you've ever heard in both tone, presentation and the possibilities thereafter, Peter Molyneux's vision for an RPG more 'English' than a cup of tea riding a giant scone is about as fun to play as that image would be to watch. One of the most enticing gameplay elements was that it was completely up to you how much moral fibre you wanted your character to exude. Were you going to be the chivalrous hero, wooing adoring crowds left and right as you slowly became the nation's darling? Or were you going to kick chickens up the backside, boot peoples' doors in, loot them senseless and batter everything in sight? The latter was far easier - and gave you more powerful magic too - but it was the fact the developers made some rather unsightly horns protrude out your head as your eyes turned to ash and your skin went pale that really made many of us positively dance down the evil pathway.
