Do you remember the first time you ever played Star Wars Trilogy in the arcade? If you were a Star Wars nerd, this was the closest you could get to being actually in the films, and it was AMAZING.

For its time - released in 1998 for the arcades - Star Wars Trilogy Arcade has fantastic graphics which really capture the look and feel of the original Star Wars trilogy. The core gameplay consists of using a joystick to shoot at things in some of Star Wars' most iconic battle scenes. There's a total of three missions, one based on a New Hope (final space battle at Yavin), the second on Empire Strikes Back (the opening battle of Hoth) and Return of the Jedi (speeder bike sequence on Endor).

Then there's another mission to unlock by beating the first three where you get to actually destroy the Death Star too. Like I said, it's Star Wars nerd heaven, it really is.

On top of that, there's bonus, boss missions where you get to be Luke Skywalker and wield a lightsaber against Boba Fett and Darth Vader.
