5 Problems With Buying A Console At Launch That I Didn't Anticipate

3. Lack Of Friends

Online Gaming I'm not a big online gamer, but the occasional title drops where I simply have to be a part of a crowd. I'd honestly say the last time I played online consistently was Red Dead Redemption, when myself and some friends would round up a posse and cause some havoc. Then my 360 red ringed and I switched to PS3 for the last few years of that generation, losing most of my gaming pals in the process. So while it isn't a new problem for me to have very few people with whom to game, it's grossly more noticeable on account of the number of people I know with a next gen console. At last count, that number was five. Five. It's pretty hard to round up a posse for anything when you have five people who took the next gen leap with you, especially when not all of them have the same games. Unfortunately there isn't likely to be a boon in online friends anytime soon, likely not until the first price drop. I'm so lonely.
