2. Hardware Annoyances
I don't have it as bad as some, as my PS4 came out of the box and purred like a kitten from Day One (knock on wood). As I've said repeatedly, it's been a great experience and one that I don't truly regret in the least. That said, there are some aspects of the hardware that I can't help but think will improve as more consoles are built and shipped. Specifically, I've found that my controllers don't hold a charge for nearly as long as I'd like and the super-cool looking buttons on the front of the console tend to be a little unruly for my tastes. Not to mention the idea that standby mode is a great idea, but it's hard to tell when the console is doing work and when it's completely dormant (again, mostly related to charging the controllers). These are nitpicky concerns, and truthfully they're not even really concerns. I have two controllers, so it's not like I've been getting frozen out of games due to lack of juice, and those cool buttons on the console are almost never used either thanks to the PS button. Still, they're things that have occasionally caused me to swear under my breath, so they're enough to deserve some attention.
