5 Reasons You Should Have Already Pre-Ordered Titanfall

3. Two Games In One

Titanfall2 It's very rare these days that we see a multiplayer mode so amazingly innovative and addictive that it becomes the staple of the game itself, throwing all the other modes to the wayside. So to effectively get two different multiplayer games in the same package is something to be in awe of. The difference between the Pilot and Titan gameplay of Titanfall is the difference between Night and Day. Being a Pilot is similar to your traditional multiplayer shooter, however with the great gunplay and interesting weapons that we come to expect from newer shooters. The need to stay the same but do something a little different is very present in the FPS market and it's something that the Pilot gameplay does perfectly. From the ever familiar pump-action shotgun that is a staple in FPS, to an interesting new weapon called a smart-pistol, capable of calculating flight-paths necessary to hit a moving enemy, this gun effectively allows you to shoot around corners. Contrast that with the Titan gameplay. You have a lot more limited mobility but a lot more fire-power. Become a super-accurate heavy machine gunner or a war-machine, constantly firing barrage after barrage of high-explosive rounds. Positioning yourself becomes even more difficult and in some ways more important than it was already. Map knowledge and awareness is always important in Titanfall but it becomes more interesting to learn the difference between 'pilotable' and 'titanable' terrain and paths. Basically, you have great first-person shooter gameplay and great mech gameplay, slammed together to form a mess of fire-power, action and gun-play in order to form Titanfall. If getting value for money is an important item on your list of reasons for buying a game, this one's for you.
