3. Work On Other IP's
Far cry 3 had everybody on edge since we were told the definition of insanity. This installment in a so-so franchise exploded into E3 2011 with our first look at the craziest villain of last year, Vaas Montenegro. The game looked suspenseful, action packed, and everybody just had to know what the hell is the matter with this guy. The final product exceeded everyone's expectations and Gamesradar.com even called it the best Assassin's Creed game of the year. Considering it mirrored some of the best parts of previous AC games, and did things better than AC3 even did. Clearly there is a lot potential in the other IP's they are releasing. Ubisoft could benefit from bringing something incredibly new and original to the gaming scene. Speaking of... I don't think there is anyone in the world who isn't excited for Watch_Dogs. I will admit when the game was first announced I had a conspiracy theory that they would eventually announce it was really Assassin's Creed IV. Unfortunately I was wrong, but it doesn't make me any less excited for the game. It seems to be taking some of the best aspects of the AC series and bringing them into the modern world. (Only this time your modern day character won't be sitting around in an animus all day.) The protagonist appears to be a modern day assassin who can hack just about everything he comes into contact with using his handy cell phone. I have so many questions for this game. Why is the protagonist doing this? Why does he have all that power? Who the hell was the second guy playing at E3, and just what the hell was he doing? (Sorry if any of these were answered, I want to be kept in the dark and be completely surprised when I finally have it in my hands.) Clearly words cannot express how excited I am for this, and I'm sure a lot of you feel the same. It is such an interesting concept, and I cannot wait to see how Ubisoft brings it to life. Ubisoft produces some of the best stuff out there. They need to bring more exciting stuff to the table that also have the potential of spanning six games across the next generation. (Just don't over-do it, of course.) Most importantly, after playing all these great new IP's for a few years we will be in search of something more familiar, and will be eager to jump back into the AC series.
