5 Underrated PS1 Games That Had Amazing Openings

2. Tombi

This game was just, weird - not necessarily a bad weird, but weird all the same. Tombi was some mad, pink haired, ADHD suffering kid who apparently had a thing for chasing wild boar about the place on all fours, and moving at speeds that would put Sonic to shame. He's also part vigilante, as during the video he sees a farmer being bullied by some evil pigs. Running at them like some humanoid ten pin bowling game and proceeding to run into a tree seems like enough to have the pigs running scared. Just when you think it couldn't get any more absurd, Tombi pulls out a mace on a string. After one of the pigs he sends flying lands on him, the others take the opportunity to steal the gold bracelet Tombi is wearing. When he comes to he is pretty upset, so he sets off on a quest of vengeance and to retrieve his lost bling, all the while managing to put a spring in his step while running off into the distance. The best part about this opening scene? The insanely catchy theme music... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqS_AEbWJ_8
