5 Video Games That Badly Need Multiplayer
5. Future Metroid Titles
The MP mode in Metroid 2 was... well, less than stellar.
However, Nintendo isn't stupid when it comes to games - they're downright excellent at it, which is why I believe that they are perfectly capable of investing more resources into a multiplayer mode for a future Metroid title, and make it a selling point for the Wii U, as well as set a standard for multiplayer games on the Wii U.
Microsoft has Gears of War and Halo, Sony has Killzone and Resistance. I see no reason as two why Nintendo shouldn't further invest into developing a multiplayer mode that keeps gamers coming back for more, and I see plenty of untapped potential in Metroid.
However... of course, they'll have to pry their demographic away from Pokemon and Zelda in order to do so. And speaking of which...
