5 Video Games The Media Always Get Wrong (And 5 That Could Change Their Minds)

2. Every Game Ever Accused Of Being A Training Tool

violent-games-sin-tax-620x348 You have all heard the argument €œThey used these games as a training tool.€ How good of a training device are these pixelated works of fiction? Speaking from personal experience, if I was ever handed a gun, I wouldn€™t know what to do with it - I wouldn€™t know how to shoot it, and unless a square manages to pop into my line of sight telling me to reload, I€™m not going to know how to do that either. Hell, I would be lucky to even point out the trigger (okay, that may be a tad dramatic but you get my point). How someone can train to cause a tragedy by sitting on a couch holding a 4-inch controller to then walking into a building wielding big assault rifles is quite a stretch. There are clearly far deeper things at work here but blaming video games is easier, obviously... look at how many people listen to these false reports and back the gibberish flowing out of news anchor's mouths.
