Wondering what another non-violent game is doing in this argument? Allow me to explain, for many of the same reasons the Portal series is here this game came out of nowhere and has taken the gaming world by storm. It just recently swept the 16th Annual D.I.C.E Awards and leads the pack in nominations for the Video Game BAFTAs. Not to mention it has been one of the few games to break out of just video game related awards and was nominated for a Grammy for its incredible score. When talking to non-gamers, this is the game often brought up. This game also shows a new aspect to multi-player, though the media most likely believes it€™s just a run-and-gun world where everyone goes guns-crazy and kills friends and strangers. Unfortunately, that description is absolutely right, but this game shows there can be a beautiful experience to be had that includes zero violence. Instead you are paired with a complete stranger who you wander around with, the player may be brand new like you, or maybe he is an expert who is there to guide you to safety while showing you all the secrets to the world that he has uncovered along the way. You know nothing about the person you are traveling with and if you don't know what you are doing there is no fear of being cursed out. It is truly glorious and an experience worthy of being enjoyed by almost everyone, almost.
