6 Things You Need To Know About WWE 2K18 Career Mode

1. The MyCAREER Invasion

WWE 2K18 Career Mode
2K Games/Xtreme Jobber

Other players' created wrestlers invading your own MyCAREER save is nothing new. The feature has been part of the WWE 2K series for years, but while their appearances are usually restricted to matches and other ringside scenes, this year will see them play a far greater role.

2K claim that your friends' MyPLAYER characters will be present throughout career mode, and you'll find them everywhere. They'll behave and act just like any other Superstar in the game, meaning you'll be able to talk to them backstage, link up as tag partners, take side quests from them, or use a steel chair to bludgeon them to within an inch of their life. Whatever takes your fancy, really.

You'll be able to turn this feature on or off according through the settings menu, meaning that you don't necessarily need to bump into your mate's naff Gangrel CAW by the water cooler if you don't want to. There's no mention on how these wrestlers' personalities will be assigned either, but their presence should help bring variety to the backstage environments, and hopefully prevent them from becoming bland, sparsely populated sets.
