7 Essentials Still Missing From Red Dead Online
1. Properties
When Rockstar first announced the Moonshiners update there was excitement in the air.
This was the first time a Red Dead Online player could purchase some form of property, outside of the cobbled-together camps.
The moonshine shack offered a base of operations with plenty of customizable details and unique access to new missions. Unfortunately, outside of getting drunk and having a gig, there isn't all that much to do in these shacks, a downside the game shares with the apartments in GTA.
For some time, more properties have been teased in the game files with data miners spotting references to mansions and cabins across the map. The rumours are further backed up by supposed leaks of the costs of these properties and names associated with them.
Hopefully, if Rockstar does add more properties down the line, then they will have more impact on the gameplay. While a fancy apartment is cool to show off to your friends, the lack of practical use would quickly see players abandoning them in favour of the more profitable camp and shack.
