7 Mass Effect Species That Need Their Own Games

3. Turians

Loosely based on the Roman empire, Turians are a highly disciplined, honour driven race who make up the majority of the Galactic Council's military and law enforcement, making them the most abundantly obvious candidates to star in a game series that for all its bells and whistles is fundamentally a third person cover shooter.

Garrus is perhaps the series' most beloved recurring character, with many calling for him to get his own spin-off game, perhaps set during his time as a C-Sec officer or the vigilante Archangel, which is a fantastic concept.

Shepard's best friend, Garrus' playful, sarcastic, and devil may care attitude is perfect for a gaming protagonist, not to mention his phenomenal combat skill. Equal parts sniper, demolition expert, and close quarters combatant, Garrus' versatility echoes that of Commander Shepard, but with a much stronger personality.

Garrus aside, a game about guiding a tight-knit unit of Turians through some kind of military campaign with long odds of survival simply writes itself. They use sophisticated, personalised weaponry and their unique colourful facial tattoos - evocative of war paint - are pleading to be converted into a customisation system.
