7 Mass Effect Species That Need Their Own Games

4. Quarians

From the former slaves to the former masters, Quarians are among the most bizarre and well fleshed out of Mass Effect's aliens. Ousted from their home planet by the Geth after they rose up against their makers, Quarians are a nomadic race who fly around the galaxy in an enormous fleet and due to being born on the sterile conditions of a ship, lack proper immune systems and are thus forced to wear special body suits at all times.

Set aside this grim life for a moment and instead focus on the idea of controlling a tech-savvy space pirate hopping around the galaxy seeking out resources and a new home world. Young Quarians are sent on pilgrimages before they can be considered adults, requiring them to go out into the galaxy at large and experience other cultures for the first time, not allowed to return unless they bring back something of value to the fleet.

Could there be a more perfect framing for the plot of a game?
