7 People You Didn't Know Appear In 3 Different Sports Video Games Genres

4. Shaquille O'Neal

Brock Lesnar
EA Sports/THQ/Midway

Even though AEW President Tony Khan recently branded Shaquille O'Neal as "the greatest celebrity wrestler of all time", Shaq has surprisingly never featured in a pro wrestling game as of this writing. Given how AEW has several games in various stages of development, it seems only fair to imagine that O'Neal will be making his wrestling video game bow sooner rather than later.

Away from the squared circle, though, and Shaq has managed to appear in video games based around three different sports.

Basketball games go without saying, with Shaquille O'Neal even being the solo cover star for NBA 2K6 back in 2005. Away from the sport where he made his name as a true legend, Shaq was a playable character in Midway's Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2... obviously in addition to 1994's ridiculously fun Shaq Fu.

As for a third and final sports variation, this Basketball Hall of Famer was an unlockable part of Yuke's and THQ's UFC Undisputed 2010. Yes, you really could select Shaq and go toe-to-toe with heavyweight fighters like Mirko Cro Cop, Frank Mir, Roy Nelson, Dan Severn, Cain Velasquez, Antonio 'Big Nog' Nogueira and Brock Lesnar in that release.
