7 People You Didn't Know Appear In 3 Different Sports Video Games Genres

3. Travis Pastrana

Brock Lesnar
Activision

This list features several renowned daredevils, yet few are quite as insane and extreme as Travis Pastrana - as reflected by him having appeared in video games for three different crazy sports.

Pastrana's time as a motocross favourite means that he has major slots in both Freestyle Motocross: McGrath vs Pastrana and MTX Mototrax. The Maryland native also famously bounced between motocross and high powered cars, which resulted in him being a playable character in the first two entries in the DiRT franchise.

Sticking with cars but beefing them up to an entirely different level, Travis can also be found in Monster Jam and Monster Jam: Urban Assault. In real life, Pastrana also dabbled with NASCAR, too, although he has yet to make his way to any NASCAR games as of this writing.

Going one better, there is actually a fourth sport that features Travis Pastrana in one of their games, with him being an unlockable character in the same Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer release that was previously mentioned here for featuring the legendary Tony Hawk as a playable figure.

Once described as the Swiss Army Knife of WhatCulture, Andrew can usually be found writing, editing, or presenting on a wide range of topics. As a lifelong wrestling fan, horror obsessive, and comic book nerd, he's been covering those topics professionally as far back as 2010. In addition to his current WhatCulture role of Senior Content Producer, Andrew previously spent nearly a decade as Online Editor and Lead Writer for the world's longest-running genre publication, Starburst Magazine, and his work has also been featured on BBC, TechRadar, Tom's Guide, WhatToWatch, Sportkskeeda, and various other outlets, in addition to being a Rotten Tomatoes-approved film critic.
