4. Other Promotions Are Waiting To Be Announced

House Of Hardcore is the only official wrestling promotion to sign on for the game thus far, but the site does claim that others are waiting in the wings. The question is this: who, pray tell, could that be? It probably won't be New Japan (they're already linked to Fire Pro World), and it definitely won't be WWE. Other candidates are AEW, ROH and Impact.

If it's the latter, then this would be the first TNA/Impact Wrestling game tie-in since TNA Wrestling iMPACT! hit mobile devices in 2011. That was a soft follow on from 2008's TNA iMPACT! on Xbox 360, PS3 and multiple other platforms of the time. Seeing some current faces from the company would be a nice touch.

AEW would obviously the biggest catch, although there is a chance All Elite will develop their own game separately at some point. As for Ring Of Honor, who knows? Maybe RetroMania will be a collection of other indys like HOH instead.
