8 Evil Video Game Choices That Came Back To Haunt You

When it comes to hurting animals in video games, the industry has a bit of a wild approach to things. In some instances, you'll gleefully murder exotic wildlife and yell "it was coming right for me!" as an excuse, and in others even thinking about harming a ball of fluff will result in the game disc itself snapping in two and refusing to ever let you play again.

Weirder still is how Call Of Duty kind of sits in the middle of things, offering you plenty of heart-stopping moments where attack dogs will treat your throat as a chew toy, but also making an entire campaign centered around canine companions which basically plays out as Marley and Me but with guns.

Modern Warfare even punishes players for being what it decides at that point in time to be evil, in a flashback level where Price is reliving a stealth mission to assassinate Imran Zakhaev. As the pair of snipers approach an abandoned courtyard they find a wild dog picking at some remains, and it's here that Price is told to leave the dog alone, mainly as it's done them no harm.

However it's entirely possible to Old Yella the poor mutt, but players will soon wish they'd steered clear of unnessesary evil actions like this, as in moments an entire pack of dogs arrives for vengeance! Dodging the pack and their one-hit-kill takedowns is a tough ask indeed, and you'll likely be sent to meet your maker in short order.

All dogs go to heaven, but you might be headed south, you dirty dog.
