8 Indie Game Characters We’d Love To See In Super Smash Bros
4. Meat Boy (Super Meat Boy)
There's no doubt that playing as this red-stained little guy would leave one hell of a mess all over the arena, but what an impressive one it would be. The little block of meat might not seem like the best opponent in a game full of weapon-wielding masters and gaming icons, but he'd cause a massive stir and could use speed to his advantage.
Super Meat Boy was released in 2010 as a flash game but found so much popularity that it has become a big part of the indie gaming scene. As a forerunner for the explosion of independently produced games, Meat Boy really does deserve a tonne of credit. Therefore, he undoubtedly has the star power to enter the competition.
He's even riding high right now thanks to the release of Super Meat Boy Forever onto every major console, so he's got the momentum to ride right into the title. His fast speeds, special attacks and messy design would stand out incredibly well in Smash, and he'd be a competitive character choice in no time.
