8 Indie Game Characters We’d Love To See In Super Smash Bros
3. Cuphead (Cuphead)
Grabbing a victory in Cuphead was a real struggle at times, so perhaps players will get more of a chance to find success with him if he were to crossover into the Smash world.
Nintendo seems to understand the popularity of this character and the promise he would have in Smash Bros, as he's already featured in Ultimate as a Mii Costume, becoming the second indie game character to do so (the first will be coming soon). He's got a foot in the door, but there's so much more he could do as a full member of the roster.
As a fighter, Cuphead would be incredibly slick to play as. His multiple shooting styles would make for some real challenges and exciting combat, especially if Nintendo could carry over some of his best abilities. His quick run and gun style would also have a significant presence in the game, as fans of speedy play would revel in his quickness.
Simply put, it's a shame that Cuphead's inclusion in Ultimate was only as a costume, as he'd fit Smash like a glove, and fans worldwide would rejoice at his full inclusion.
