3. New Battles

In the Final Mix version of the original Kingdom Hearts, the mysterious "Unknown" battled in Hollow Bastion was a new fight for many fans outside of Japan. With the 2.5 ReMIX, fans should be geared up to take on a whole slew of Final Mix exclusive bosses and battles. In Kingdom Hearts II, players will now be able to take on the Lingering Will, members of Organization XIII who were defeated by the time Re:Chain of Memories ended, the Mushroom XIII and even engage in the Sora/Roxas battle in the Dive to the Heart rather than merely watching it. Not to be left out, Birth by Sleep will include several new Mirage Arena battles, including one against Monstro, as well as a fight against the Young Xehanort. And even though it may not be playable, Re:coded's bevy of new cinematic content is set to include a new battle scene or two to help keeps things lively. Despite the fact that there's already so much to do in the games without the insertion of even more material, the prospect of finally being able to undertake these diverse fights for the first time is yet another reason that December can't get here soon enough.
