8 Reasons To Be Excited For Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX

1. It's Out Of The Way

Finally, even though we're excited to get our hands on the collection, it'll be out and the road will be paved for the release of Kingdom Hearts III. Barring a will they/won't they PS3 port of the vital 3DS Dream Drop Distance, no more Kingdom Hearts prequels, interquels, spin-offs, reMIXes or otherwise stand between the fans and KHIII. Whether it arrives in 2015 or 2016, Square Enix is moving full steam to bring us the game, with series director Tetsuya Nomura even stepping away from the equally long-awaited Final Fantasy XV to focus on getting it out. With so many plot threads ready to be wrapped up, a vast universe of new worlds and characters to be explored and encountered and the benefit of huge technological leaps in the years since Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts III has a lot of expectation, hype and hope to live up to. Though the wait continues, the 2.5 ReMIX is worth rejoicing about. With so much fresh content awaiting fans new and old, the high definition coating and the chance for everyone to finally catch up on all the stories that drive the series, the collection has enough to offer to remind fans why they love the series while entertaining new fans and tiding us all over just a little bit longer.
