3. Rodin - Bayonetta 2

So you might be thinking you're the absolute Witch's brew when you beat Bayonetta 2, but trust me, you will NEVER be ready to take on Rodin, the friendly shopkeeper who you can battle if you purchase the ludicrously expensive Platinum ticket.

This alone should be a signal that you're getting in deep, as at 999,999 halos, that's a price you're going to need to grind hard to afford.

If you can scrape together the cash you'll be rewarded with a fight that makes the final boss of the game look like an utter joke. This guy can chop health off you like you are made of paper, and even has a lovely move reminiscent of Akuma from Street Fighter's over the top special which can pretty much one shot you.

Plus, the timing of this move will drop from short to next to instantaneous as the fight goes on, and that's if you're lucky enough to even get past his first stage, which will see you wearing out the dodge button and praying for an opening.

In short, this is a fight that will test you to your absolute limit, and even if you beat Rodin the rest of the game will seem so trivial it might break the entire experience.
