8 Terrible Decisions Made In Horror Video Games

6. Actually Going To Willamette - Dead Rising

Until Dawn
Capcom

Frank West: what a guy, am I right? Not only has he covered wars, but he’s a wise cracking photo hound who’ll stop at nothing to get to the bottom of what’s going on in Willamette and Fortune City. Yet... that’s not to say he’s the smartest man alive by any stretch of the imagination.

By this I mean that despite seeing very literal and HD focused evidence of a zombie outbreak on his flight into Willamette, he STILL decides to go on with his mission of gathering a scoop. Frank mate, you’ve GOT your scoop right there, you saw a gas station explode, a man get eaten alive and another get pushed off a roof, you don’t need to know any more GET OUT OF THERE.

However, on he plods and manages to enter the Mall in which he spends the next 3 days and beyond fighting for his life. Plus he puts a tonne of trust in his pilot to come back which is a ropey escape plan at best, and the way he reacts to the helicopter going down showcases he’s not even CONSIDERED an alternative route of exit. Frank, I love you, but that’s just dumb.

Jules Gill hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
