8 Things You NEED To Know About AEW’s Video Games

1. Two Games Still Don't Have Release Dates

One of the more surprising things about AEW's press conference is that they didn't give much away in terms of exactly when gamers will get their hands on two of the titles. This was very much an introductory piece designed to charm (which the Apple-style presentation definitely did) and start the hype properly.

It was a quick 'hello' and a total tease, in other words.

That's fine, but it would be nice to have even tentative release dates for Elite GM and the main AEW game soon. The mobile-only Casino: Double Or Nothing title is unlikely to tide people over for too long, so Yuke's might need to act fast. It makes sense that they'll announce more on GM next, then continue working diligently on the 3D entry.

That's fine, 'cause that provides a natural progression. AEW should want peeps to check out Casino first, move on to the General Manager sim and then peak with the full-blown console game. If handled correctly, they could maximise anticipation for the latter.
