8 Times Gaming Critics Got It Completely Wrong

7. Modern Warfare 3's Abysmal Hacking Issues

When you're tasked with following up on the monolithic and much loved Modern Warefare and Modern Warfare 2 then it's pretty safe to say there's going to be a rather large sense of pressure on things. After all how do you top two of the best entries in the franchise that might as well have had a parade thrown for them for how well they were received critically and commercially?

Well if you're to go on what Modern Warfare 3 did, you just kind of suck. Apparently that's a viable option.

Thanks to a mediocre narrative that simply tried to ape the best bits of the previous two MW entries yet only served to make a monkey out of players trying to swallow this tripe and pacing that felt about as smooth as watching someone fall down some stairs Modern Warfare 3 was a difficult sit-through to say the least.

Oh well, surely the multiplayer will still deliver? After all that's where the real meat on this dog bone is right? *laughs in terrible connectivity issues and the most rampant hacking in any of the titles since the original*

And yet, somehow, this game still received rave reviews from critics. I know that people don't want to upset COD fans as they are a spicy lot, but still, have a backbone you lot!
