8 Video Game Bugs That Literally Destroyed Your Game

1. Assassin's Creed Origins - Bonus Bug Bonanza

Okay, this one is a doozy.

Firstly it’s a glitch that only punished those who undertook a bonus mission that was doled out to fans who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game.

The mission titled “Ambush At Sea” would trigger when the player was between level 23-25, but thanks to shockingly poor integration of this mission into the main code, the game would begin a cascade of utter failure.

First, all your items, including quest-specific ones will be deleted from your inventory, then fast travel will become locked, and you’ll be stuck in the ocean unable to do anything. On top of this, your save file will completely corrupt, forcing you to start all over again.

Making makers even worse, when a patch was rolled out to help players with this problem, while it fixed the issue for PC players, the patch actually increased the rate this would happen for console users.

Talk about a pathetic patch.
