8 Video Game Fan Theories So GOOD They Became Real

2. Noob Saibot Is A Resurrected Bi-Han - Mortal Kombat: Deception

Mortal Kombat: Deception dropped one hell of a bombshell in Noob Saibot's story ending, revealing that the mysterious undead wraith is actually resurrected from Bi-Han - the original iteration of Sub-Zero from the very first game, who was killed by Scorpion.

Given that Noob Saibot was introduced way back in Mortal Kombat II, fans had to wait more than a decade to learn his true identity - a reveal that left many fans positively shook.

But as franchise folklore would have it, this wasn't actually something that Midway came up with entirely by themselves - legend claims that a Midway employee actually took this idea from a fan who randomly suggested it to them.

While there's no on-the-record confirmation of this - and honestly, they might well deny it for legal reasons at this point - the word on the street is that Midway ran with a fan's frankly brilliant idea for Noob Saibot's origins.
