8 Video Games That Ended WAY Too Soon

7. Resident Evil 3 Remake

Resident Evil 3
Capcom

Not gonna lie, I am absolutely in love with Capcom at the moment. After many years of questionable content, the publisher is having something of a career renaissance with the likes of the epic Monster Hunter Series and of course the outstanding Resident Evil remakes.

Now if I'm being super critical, Resident Evil 3 was nowhere near as good as Resident Evil 2's remake, simply down to a shorter development time, more condensed gameplay, and a few instances where quick time events were plopped into the experience that added absolutely nothing.

However, the title still retained a brilliant pace, outstanding gunplay, and of course the star of the show, Nemesis, who felt unrelenting in his quest to murder Jill Valentine. Every moment he dropped in or popped up elicited screams of terror, especially seeing as the bastard can RUN!

That being said, I can't be the only one that felt a little underwhelmed by the ending. Not only did the final confrontation with Nemesis feels a little lackluster but the showdown with Nikolai on the rooftop was completely throwaway, to the point that you wonder if there was a planned battle that was scrapped?

This left players feeling glad they escaped, but maybe a little saddened by the fact everything had wrapped up in just a few hours.
