8 Video Games With The BEST Game Overs

1. Setting Of A Nuke - Harvester

Harvester is quite possibly one of the weirdest games I've ever played. And that's saying something.

It's like a fever dream that's been fed through the original Mortal Kombats image capture software and then combined with puzzles that require you to almost have precognition in order to figure out how to solve them. Wrap all of this up in gore and horror and you've got Harvester, or at least as best as you're going to get a grasp on without playing this game yourselves.

And that's without even getting into the weird, surreal humor that runs throughout the experience, which of course extends to the numerous deaths. You can be electrocuted, shot by a trick-or-treating child, or have your head eaten by a giant carnivorous plant!

However, the best death, hands down, is the nuke scene. This is triggered if you head to the army base and admit to being a Communist, which leads the angry paraplegic guard to shoot you then accidentally land on a giant button which LAUNCHES A NUKE and destroys the entire world. Talk about going out with a bang!
