9 Critically-Panned Video Games That Players Love
3. Star Wars: Bounty Hunter
Metacritic Score: 65
Although it took a kicking from critics all the way back in 2002, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter has slowly become one of the most beloved Star Wars games of all time. Up there with the likes of KOTOR and Jedi Knight in the upper echelon of the sub-genre, the Jango Fett-led release nailed a side of the world that's always been criminally overlooked.
The seedy underbelly of bounty hunters is something that's always intrigued fans, and this brilliant third-person shooter brought the strange vistas and untrustworthy characters of this environment to life, resulting in an epic Star Wars experience that didn't have a single lightsaber in sight.
It helped that the core shooting was pretty damn fine too, with the addition of a jetpack facilitating epic aerial attacks that made every combat encounter feel cinematic and frenetic.
Bounty Hunter has since been re-released on next-gen consoles and holds up surprisingly well, making you wonder just why it tanked so hard all those years ago.
