9 Delayed Video Games We Can't Wait To Play In 2015

Finnish developer Remedy Entertainment are one of the best teams we have in the industry, having been the first game to do slow-motion bullet-time effects after The Matrix (or Blade, if we're being picky), before turning their attention to Twin Peaks-style horror with the phenomenal Alan Wake. Although Wake was a bit too interpretational and random for some, it was still a huge success overall, and so for their next (this time-exclusive to Xbox One) shooter they're returning to their trench coat-clad roots, with protagonist Jack Joyce lobbing out literal time bombs that distort enemies within them, allowing him to bolt around the battlefield and deliver flying Superman punch-knockouts in style. There's also a few scenes that show off some impressive physics-based rendering effects where we see explosions stopped half way through, or crashed vehicles suspended in mid-air with pieces of debris and paint flecks floating in zero-gravity - all needing to be traversed by Joyce to progress. Story-wise this seems to have quite a bit going on, and with Remedy's signature way of presenting easter eggs and narratives to create TV shows within their games, alongside some terrific writing this looks like another winner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybRB8sBCigw
