9 PC Games That Will Make You Nostalgic For The 90s

8. Theme Hospital

As manically entertaining now as it was 18 years ago, Theme Hospital was Bullfrog's (RIP) piece de resistánce, and makes you wonder what kind of games they'd of made if they were still around today. The aim is simple: design and manage a series of hospitals, hire staff, research treatments for illnesses like Hairyitis and Elvis Impersonator Syndrome, all while trying to prevent your hospital from becoming a nightmare of vomits, rats and dying patients. Thanks to its active fanbase, you can get CorsixTH, an open-source version of the game that lets you increase the resolution, run the game without using a DOS emulator, and more. You still need the base game to do this, but it's the nearest you'll get to a new-age version of such a phenomenal little title.
