From its opening few hours that delve heavily in a brutal version of hide and seek, to the back third that brings about all sorts of awesome plot revelations and talking points, there's a lot to love in Resi 7.
Its VR component especially is a solid reason to posse up with friends and scare yourselves to death, and as weird as it is to say, there's something of a 'teen horror' aspect to a lot of the game's more overtly grossout elements.
NPC characters, the generally corny dialogue or straight-up dumbassery of our protagonist is the sheer embodiment of a tone that makes an audience band together and yell at the screen, helping make RE7 a great game to play both solo and in groups alike.
