9 Reasons You Shouldn't Buy A PS4 Pro

1. It's Still Just A PS4

After all is said and done, all the marketing is cut out of the way, forgetting about all of the visual flair, the hardware issues, and brand new bells and whistles, once you've actually put the device into your living room, you'll possibly be left with a little bit of an empty feeling if you've upgraded from your old PS4.

That's because, ultimately, the PS4 Pro is still just that - an upgraded PS4 with a few more bells and whistles. It's still the exact same library of games, the exact same digital store, the exact same upcoming library, and the exact same controller, with the exact same games for free every month as the previous PS4.

Of course, there's really nothing wrong with that. The PS4 is a wonderful device - a powerhouse compared to it's competition - and the PS4 Pro is a gorgeous upgrade that once you've sorted your home theatre for it, is not only absolutely breathtaking to behold, but lets PS VR really shine.

Ultimately, however, one of the best purchasing decisions you could make if you're looking to upgrade your current one or get a new one, may be to just ignore all the faff and wait a year or two.

Your old PS4 isn't outdated, after all, and if you're just getting a PS4 for the first time, the games are still just as fun on the lesser model.

Unless you bought Knack. Nothing could make that game fun to play...
