No one wants to say it, but controlling your bean is like handling a top-heavy truck over icy speed-bumps. None of these beans exactly have the figures of pro-athletes, and players will spend more time than they think writhing around on the floor, trying to upright their bean after the slightest nudge.

Jumping a seemingly innocent gap between two perfectly-level platforms can still make your fall guy inexplicably trip flat on its face. One quick stumble is enough for a Whirlygig fan to propel your bean off into last place. The yellow beams of Hit Parade and Slime Climb are extremely challenging to land on; the latter has racked up an impressive elimination tally since Fall Guys' launch.

But if we're totally honest, these janky controls add to the charm of the game. Even the most seasoned of Fall Guys players, with tens of Crown Victorys under their belt, can be thwarted by jumping a fraction off-course. Speaking of which…
