9 Video Games You Didn't Know Were Turned Into Board Games (And How They Work)

3. Resident Evil Deck-Building Game

Resident Evil Deck Building Game
Capcom/Bandai

Street Fighter isn't the only video game inspired deck-building game out there. In fact, there's one based on Resident Evil, and its got signicantly more content. The game supports up to four players, but interestingly can also be played by just one.

In the game, players battle against hordes and hordes of zombies, fortifying themselves in a mansion for better odds in combat. You play as characters like Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker, and more. Like Street Fighter, you start with a basic combat deck and slowly build your collection of weapons and gear.

There are three different modes: story mode, which pits players against each other to see who survives the longest, mercenary mode, which is less about the defensive and more about killing as many zombies as possible in a short amount of time (a mode which also supports teams), and versus mode, removing the zombies and pitting the player characters directly against one other.
