5. Still No Feudal Japan

A longstanding bugbear since, well, the series' origin, the idea of AC heading to Japan has been requested year-in, year-out.

Though you can debate the pros and cons of Assassin's Creed going to Greece - a fairly well-worn location, as far as games are concerned - it certainly ain't no Japan.

Now, AC did visit the far east in the spin-off AC: China, though that game's side-on perspective didn't exactly turn heads.

For a certain subset of fans who know the secret to getting a major vote of goodwill is to take us to Japan, having Ubisoft yet again refuse to do this is starting to get infuriating.

When it feels like 90% of the fanbase are asking for Japan and no vocal contingent have ever mentioned Greece... why has Odyssey even happened?
